Centrally located in the Burnet Road corridor, this 92,000 square foot, Class A office building bodes a modern design that will offer a timeless space for all walks of life. The complexity of the site allowed us to be even more creative with the design which is something we pride ourselves on being able to do for our clients. Our approach transforms challenges into opportunities that deliver exceptional value to our clients by leveraging our deep insight and local expertise. This specific site has four different zoning designations and compatibility triggered on the east side of the property, setbacks, and height limitations, all while sitting within the 100 year floodplain. These complexities presented interesting design solutions, like elevating the building on piers to remove it from the floodplain. The overall design is guided by shifted, rectangular volumes spanning over three levels, giving an illusion that the building is floating. Clad in glass and metal panels the combination of curtain wall, ribbon windows and vertical fins creates a dynamic and modern facade. Native landscaping, anchored by a large heritage tree in the communal courtyard, provides an area of respite and alternative to the indoor work environment.
